The Museum Puri Lukisan

Museum Puri Lukisan  located in the heart of Ubud, ubud precisely on the highway towards Campuhan not far from Ubud Market and Puri Ubud. When we entered the parking lot it was greeted by a typical Balinese archway that stands firmly in front of the museum.

Museum Puri Lukisan was built by the Ministry of Education and culture Republic of Indonesia Mr.Muhammad Yamin on 31 January 1954 and the first stone placed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr.Sastroamidjojo.

In this museum there are 4 buildings in which contains a collection of paintings and several sculptures by famous artists such as Ida Bagus Nyana Bali, Ida Bagus Gelgel, I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Anak Agung Gde Sobrat, and I Gusti Made Deblog.

Upon entering the museum, we are greeted by the sight of green in the area museums and ornaments that adorn Balinese each room.

To avoid piracy or painting forger then banned photographing paintings on display in the museum, because the paintings are on display here is not just any painting, this painting is the work of artists reliable from bali whose value is  very high.
