Tirta Ganga Heritage of Karangasem kingdom

Attractions Tirta Gangga is located in Karangasem regency Abang subdistrict. is one of the attractions faforite in Karangasem district other than the White Sand Beach, Taman Ujung, Amed and Candi Dasa. Tirta Gangga is one of the relics of Karangasem kingdom in the middle of rice fields and water in this park comes from springs rejasa. Within the area there is a pool that Tirta Gangga in the center stood a towering temple, with clear water and decorated fish that swim in the middle of the pond. So that makes tourists want to go to the middle of the pool with a path that has been provided and water play while looking fish that swim from a closer distance.

Name of Attractions Tirta Gangga, derived from the word meaning Tirta Ganga holy water and that means the name of a river in India. Tirta Gangga water park was built in 1946 by the king of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem Agung.
Taman Tirta Gangga previously been destroyed by the great eruption in 1963. The district Karangasem rebuild this park and used for tourist areas.
